18/365 Diagnosis? Fibroadenoma?

18/365 Diagnosis? Fibroadenoma?

Today I had my first ever mammogram. This was to diagnose a lump found on my breast. After some time in the Diagnostic Center I was told that it was most likely Fibroadenoma. A tumor that is normally benign. But there are rare cases where the tumor is malignant. I'm one of the people that may fall into this category. After looking at the imagery the doctor gave me a of 3 on the tumor grade scale (scale of 1-4). The cells of Grade 3 or Grade 4 tumors are usually poorly differentiated or undifferentiated high-grade tumors, and are generally the most aggressive in behavior.

So what does that mean? Next week I'll have a biopsy of the lump. Plain and simple. I'll get the results back in 5-10 business days and I'll know more then.

17/365 Lizard Suicide attempt.

17/365 Lizard Suicide attempt.

It's always interesting at the Olsen home. Today after church, I came in to find Tina (one of our cats) with a live lizard in her mouth. That little guy will regret the day he stepped in to the garage inhabited by three cats. Can you say LUNCH?

So Tina caught the lizard and brought it into the house (through the cat door) to play with. I spotted the little green thing running across my living room floor quickly fallowed by an orange streak that was obviously my youngest cat bringing me a prize. After chasing Tina down for a few minutes I finally cornered her and the lizard and put it in this yellow gift bag. Grabbed my camera and ran out to set it free.

This makes the second lizard in a week that the cats have brought in for mommy. Only the first was gobbled up by Bubs before I could do anything about it. Lucky for this guy I was home to rescue him where others have not been so lucky.

16/365 Fun at the Fountain. Not At The Mall

With gift cards in hand, our family made a trip the the Mall of the Mainland. I say that with two thumbs down. This place is a ghost town waiting to happen. I can count on my hands the number of stores that are still open. In a few days several more will be closing. The only real reason a person would want to go there is for it's lack luster movie theater. But we go because it's cheep.

The highlight of our day was visiting the Walden Books that was closing in a few days and had everything on clearance and letting the girls watch the water fountain. Ariana really seamed to enjoy it.

Ariana is a water drinker just like her Mommy. In an hour, she put away 4 sippies full of water. That's my girl!

14-365 Only Doctors Can Tell.

Sorry... I can't really explain this shot right now. All I can say is that I'm going through a hard physical issue right now and that today was a big day for me. I'm sad, confused, and waiting. I'll update every few days.

I'm really glad I've decided to do my 365 this year. I really think this is helping me through this tough time. It seems like it's the only thing I can focus on a side from what is physically ailing me.

Yesterday, you may remember I made new tube tops to be used in the studio. Well today I gave them a test run (along with two new hair bows that I made today) and I'm happy to say my girls would live in them if I'd let them. It's so rewarding when you see something you put time into, make someone so happy. Oh... yeah... and Valentine's day is a month away. The girls can't wait to hand out Valentine cards.

12/365 Sew Stretchy

Today I pulled out the trusty ol' sewing machine and threw together two new Valentine's Day tube tops for the studio. I plan on using them tomorrow for day 13. Lets see how they turn out.
The goal: To take one picture a day of either my self, my husband, or my kids. NO EXCEPTIONS!
